I'll still use it but maybe in conjunction with other cabs or other amps. I was content to use this and tweak and convince myself it sounded fine. I used Amplitube before I discovered Cerberus and Recabinet. Still, a good sound can be had with some tweaking and if you like the Mark Bass sound it's all good. I like the addition of pedals for some candy options. To my ears there wasn't an immediate wow factor like I experience with Cerberus. Mark Bass sounded much fine with lots of amps/cabs options.

The complete opposite of Cerberus with not many options to tweak but a good sound with minimum fuss all the same. Lots of tweakable options to fine tune if necessary.īassamp CM was great for obtaining quick and easy tones. Not much difference for me but my test wasn't intense enough to compare them in depth. Tried it with its own cabs and also with Recabinet cabs of a similar kind. With Cerberus I found it very easy to get great quality sounds quickly without fussing around much at all. Well, after a decent workout with Cerberus, Overloud Mark Studio, Amplitube, Audified GK (LE only with just 1 amp, 1 mike etc) and Audio Assault Bassamp CM I must say that Cerberus is the one that kicked my butt big time!
